My Super 6 predictions this week as Premier League starts

desktop-logo (1)Hello again, I’m back again thanks to Two Footed Tackle, how are you all doing? Did you enjoy the football last weekend and of course the midweek action in the League Cup and Super Cup? I definitely did and just about did okay/average in the opening weekend of the Super 6 season.

I got a total of 9 points with just the one correct score of Bristol City 2 v Wigan 1, with a couple of other predictions close. However I was way out with two games after there was five goals in one and six goals in the other.

Here goes for this weekend games then. There are only the five Premier League games kicking off at 3pm, which to be fair is going to be the average this season, plus one Football League Championship game.

Strangely the majority of these predictions came to me quite easily for a change and even more so considering it’s the opening weekend of the Premier League season. That could be a good thing but also it could be a bad thing. I contemplated a Middlesbrough win but in the end reverted back to a Stoke win. Spurs will be favourites for an away win at Everton and if Martinez was still in charge I’d of gone with that too. However, Koeman is there now so I’ve gone for the draw. All the others are home wins except for Burnley and Swansea – I just had no idea, so have left it and gone for a 0-0 draw.

If you’re off to a game this weekend, have a great time. I’m looking forward to the Bournemouth v Man Utd and Arsenal v Liverpool games on Sunday myself and I’m going to stick my neck out and say two away wins.
