Hello and good afternoon. How are you all keeping on yet another wet and windy day? I don’t think it’s stopped since last weekend and I’m already hearing off local pitches in my are already full of water with games and coaching sessions already being cancelled and it’s only Friday. None of want to see kids or even adults for that matter missing out on their weekend football but in some cases it just can’t be helped. Hopefully as stuff has been cancelled early, other things can be put into place with the possibility of using 3G pitches these day. Anyway, enough of that, it’s my Soccer Saturday Super 6 prediction time.
With no Premier League or Championship football last weekend because of the International break, it was always going to be a tough prediction weekend. Not that I don’t follow League One and League Two, I do and regularly watch live games and highlight show to see how certain teams are doing. However from previous experience both those divisions are so hit and miss and sometimes just putting random scores in without thinking about it can work a treat. I should listen to my own device sometimes as I only got three correct results right and six points after studying league form and recent results. Still, six points seems to be about my average at the moment.
All six games last weekend has a winning team so as soon as I predicted a couple of draws I knew I was doomed. Of the three correct results I predicted, only one of them was close to be a correct score with the other two being out by a fair few goals as you can see below:
Onto this week and I’ve decided to change tactics and not leave my predictions until the last-minute, i.e. Saturday morning/lunchtime when I’m rushing around. Instead I’m getting them done today and have decided to watch a preview show and I’ve seen advertised. Don’t get me wrong I’ll be doing my own predictions first of all and then with some advise I may twinge some predictions here or there. Here goes then.
Palace are having a nightmare at the moment and I think that’ll continue against City, they may well score as City do keep conceding but an away win for me. Swansea is dire straights as well and were awful against Manchester United two weeks and took a beating, saying that so did Everton at Chelsea but I think the Toffeemen will bounce back in style. Bournemouth are poor on the road and Stoke have found some form, home win.
Both Sunderland and Hull are desperate for a win but I can’t call it so I’ve gone for the draw. A draw too for Watford against Leicester, both teams currently hit and miss and plodding along and I can’t see anything separating them. The most obvious result to predict this weekend would be a Liverpool win, however as Klopp hasn’t had as much time as usual working with his players as normal due to the break. I’m going to go for a high scoring score draw.
Enjoy your Saturday football.
