We're down a man again, and this time it's Ryan. So, in his absence, Gary and Chris focus on the looming 2014 season in Major League Soccer. See, we told you it'd be just like the old days. The main event is an interview with former United States international Alexi Lalas about the recent announcement that David Beckham has exercised his option to secure a team on the cheap, and has chosen to do so in a market that's already been tried out in MLS: Miami, Florida.
We also discuss the pros and cons of Toronto FC's expensive shot at glory, which includes the signings of Jermain Defoe and Michael Bradley as well as a loan deal for goalkeeper Julio Cesar. There are a couple of other topics covered too, not least a rushed DC United assessment agains the will of the show's host. Chris 1, Gary 0.
