i was watching the bias video above and noticed Rio’s tweet at the very end…
and I thought of you guys.
The video brought up a question:
Pepe DIDNT hit Alves but the intent was there.
Alves faked being hit as Rio explained.
So is the right call, Pepe gets a red even though there wasNT actual contact
and Alves gets a yellow for simulation?
Im not 100% on the intent to injure (especially not after watching some EPL teams) but a dangerous play is called whether a punch, a kick to the head or swing of the elbow makes contact or not.
But Alves takes the trophy from last years winner, Sergio Mr Peekaboo.
Twice Ive taken an afternoon off from work to be able to see Barcelona play live at a pub with mates. Arsenal (the RVP red) and the only El 4 Classico’s which mattered, game #3.
Twice, Barca proved that they are the best 11 vs 10 team in the world.
Actually, three times. I also took off work to see Barca play that shameful 11 vs 10 game against Inter last year.
I hope to see them one day play a full 90mins and not be embarassed.
You want to love them for the way they play but they also embody some of the worst behaviours in professional football. They are like finding the most beautiful woman in the world wants to marry you but her dad is Materazzi.
