• Chris started twofootedtackle.com in January 2008 and has overseen its growth ever since. He specialises in the Premier League, Major League Soccer, football supporter culture and general bitter moaning, and is getting increasingly involved in writing about non-league football. He also looks after the Tooting & Mitcham United twitter profile and is a co-founder of Socrates. He follows Aston Villa, Tooting & Mitcham, DC United and Napoli.

Gary Andrews, Editor-at-Large

• Gary works in journalism, broadcasting and social media, and is a long-suffering Exeter City and Wales fan. He’s been reporting on sport issues, among other topics, for nearly ten years, with a particular interest in fan ownership, business and football, and non-league football. He’s written for ITV.com, When Saturday Comes, Soccerlens, Pitch Invasion and many other sites and media organisations. As a footballer, he describes himself as a significantly less talented version of Emmanuel Eboue.

Ian Walsh, Writer

• Ian is a 19-year-old supporter of Manchester United and will be focusing on all of the main events taking place in football, whether it is the Premier League, Football League or Ligue 1. He’s been looking forward to interacting with all you football anoraks out there, so just drop him a comment anytime.

Terry Duffelen, Writer

• Terry is the creator of the football satire website the Onion Bag. He also writes the Bundesbag, a blog about German club football for the Football Fairground. Terry can be heard on the weekly Sound Of Football podcast and is a co-founder of Socrates, the football blogger’s meet up in London.

Kirsten Schlewitz, Writer

• Kirsten is pretty new to all things football, having just found this obsession in 2008 when she fell hard for Aston Villa. She now manages SBN‘s Villa blog, 7500 to Holte. She’s a west-coast American, doing time at law school in Portland but still a Sounder at heart, traveling to Seattle to use her season tickets. She also supports SSC Napoli, Exeter City FC, FC Koln, and Estudiantes Tecos, as well as having an inexplicable soft spot for Andrey Arshavin.

Mat Rodger, Writer

• Mat lives in London and works in the publishing industry. He writes essays on the wider world of football at www.whoareya.org and is the host of the Football Basement podcast, an irregular, irreverent look at recent events in the Premier League and Champions League. He has also written reviews for music magazines and websites. He supports a Big Four team, but his real passion lies in exploring the everyday experience of the average Premier League football fan – in the pub, in front of the telly, online and in the newspapers. To him, football is far, far more than just what happens on the field.

Dan Ward, Writer

• Dan was born in Oxford but now calls south-east Pennsylvania home. He’s an Aston Villa obsessive and a new follower of Major League Soccer’s 2010 expansion club, Philadelphia Union. He’s a visual guy who looks at stats and numbers, so expect to see charts and chalkboards rather than lengthy prose, a veritable cacophony of numbers and pictures with a sprinkling of words. You know, like a Mr. Men book.

Alex Callaghan, Writer

• Alex supports the entity formerly known as a football club called Queens Park Rangers. When following an organisation with all the soul and warmth of LexCorps becomes too much, he likes to check in on how Exeter City or Hayes & Yeading FC are doing. His interests lie in the Football League, football culture around the globe and the development of the sport in the Middle East. He plays on a Sunday and likes to think his strength lies in reading the game, as he’s certainly no good at the running around bit.

Lara O’Reilly, Writer

• Lara is a typical Gooner (Lives in South London? Check! Can never get a ticket? Check! Forgives Henry for those Gillette adverts? Check!). She also plays football (but not like a girl) in goal or on the right wing, depending on how naff the opposition are. Besides gallivanting about the football pitch she is a freelance journalist and a wannabe rockstar. Her favourite note is Bb.

Eliot Rothwell, Writer

• Eliot is a 17-year-old football writer from Bury, near Manchester. He writes a regular column for his local newspaper on the trials and tribulations of his hometown team, Bury F.C, as well being a contributor to various football websites and magazines on a wide range of topics. Whilst taking an interest in tactics, Eliot follows the “Brilliant Orange” attitude to football: that football is an art form and the rhetoric and theater should be enjoyed more than the tactical dissection. Seb Gevers, Writer

• Seb has been following top SPL side Aberdeen FC since the late 70’s and has never forgotten skiving off school to cheer the team home from their Cup Winners Cup victory back in ’83. Admittedly, since then it’s been mostly downhill, but like any true supporter he’s stuck with them through the good times and the disproportionately more frequent bad times. A goalkeeper by position and formerly editor of Scottish football blog Inside Left, Seb dreams of the day when “fitba” north of the border stops being the laughing stock of Europe.
