Being the owner of an overloaded RSS reader, I've also been made aware of a couple of pieces of news today (both good news regarding decisions made by usually stupid football bodies) which develop stories we discussed in the studio last night.
First, FIFA has had more to say on the World Anti-Doping Agency's approach to football testing. Meanwhile, our very own Football Association has very sensibly rescinded Brad Friedel's red card for Aston Villa against Liverpool on Sunday.

Liked it, thought it was very well produced and the content was top notch.
My only 'issue' would be that it was a bit too similar to the Guardian's Foootball Weekly...just felt very familiar. You've obv got the potential to be really good, so if I was you, I'd create more of a distinct product.

I think I largely agree with you, I'm going to have a chat with Gary and see if there's a way we can step aside from that.
The structure was pretty similar, I guess when we were developing it it just came naturally.
It may stay the same, but I see no harm in discussing the feedback.
Yeah, no criticism intended. If you're going to do a football podcast, inevitably it's gonna sound like FW, just because it's the Daddy of football podcasts. In the same way that every new girl band look like a poor version of Girls Aloud...
Will defo 'tune in' (we need a digital equivalent) next week, think you're onto something good.
