What's three people wide, high on giggling and way too long? twofootedtackle podcast Episode 10, of course!
To mark our first landmark show, Gary Andrews and I invited Terry Duffelen of SPAOTP and The Onion Bag to return to the pod to talk about the beautiful game. We spoke about the end of the domestic seasons in England and Germany, with a focus on Newcastle United's relegation from the Premier League and Wolfsburg's incredible Bundesliga triumph.
We also touched on a few lower and non-league clubs suffering from financial difficulties, the price of tickets for England Schoolboys' clash with France and the future of Gordon Strachan. On top of all that, we rounded up the weekend's Major League Soccer action and debated whether Everton will win the FA Cup. You can vote on that in the sidebar on the left.
To listen to the podcast, you can click straight through to this MP3, or search for twofootedpodcast on iTunes.
The blog posts we discussed came from Narey's Toepoker and Footbo.
Have your say
You'll be pleased/pissed off to learn that the podcast will continue over the summer months, albeit it a bit less regularly and probably in a slightly different format. We'd like to know if you have any suggestions for the summer shows, and you can help us out by joining the (potential) thread on Facebook.
And while you're at it, why not tell all your friends about the Facebook page? You know you want to.

Thank you so much for using my blogpost in the podcast, it's really gratifying and good for my ego!
You pronounced the title absolutely right - Narey's toepoker is a reference to the fabulous long range strike by Scotland full-back David Narey which gave us the lead against Brazil in the 1982 world cup (we lost 4-1, but that's besides the point!), which was derided by Jimmy Hill as "just a toe-poke". This is why he is not overly popular up here!
Don't feel you are trivialising Scottish football - the SPL is a league of very low standard indeed.
Thanks again.

Bring it on, Ginge!
