Pini Zahavi's future football superstars

Controversial football agent Pini Zahavi, in his role at IMScouting.com, has selected a team of youngsters destined for international footballing greatness.

The website itself claims to be "the first system of its kind to provide in-depth coverage of leagues and football players from all around the world" and, despite criticism from the excellent Ian Plenderleith in the latest issue of When Saturday Comes, seems to me like a decent enough starting place for what is a ridiculously ambitious challenge.

The input (and I just know you were wondering about the input) comes from a global network of local experts, most notably including a whole bunch of football journalists (though the expertise of certain journalists is questionable). Zahavi's backing seems key, which is why, after a load of players were identified by the network, it was he who selected world football's eleven best prospects. Oh, to be young again.
