twofootedtackle podcast 4 preview
Saturday, 11 April 2009
We're halfway through a goal-filled highly entertaining packed Easter bank holiday fixture list, with Mr twofootedtackle and myself doing our best to see as many games as possible during the period. It also means we're planning the next podcast for you lovely people.
We've got a corking guest in this week in the shape of Chris Oakley, the founder of the excellent Some People Are On The Pitch blog. Although it could get confusing with two people named Chris in the studio. I may have to think up alternative names for them both.
As ever, we'll be looking at the weekend's MLS and Premier League fixtures, while there'll be a little extra chat about West Ham. You know, that other London team rooted in mid-table. They do still exist you know.
Talking of forgotten aspects of football, we'll also be discussing our plans for world domin... sorry, the Europa LDV Milk Cup League, formerly known as the UEFA Cup. It used to be interesting at some point in recent history, but don't ask us when that was.
There'll also be a look at the tight title race for Ligue 1 in France and a chat about why the Conference South isn't fond of students.
On a more serious note, we'll also be discussing the legacy of Hillsborough and the impact it's had on football in Britain today.
Remember, due to the bank holiday, the podcast will be recorded a day later while we get on with important stuff like watching football, although you don't have to wait for us to say when we've posted it online - subscribe to us on iTunes.
Happy Easter.
