twofootedtackle podcast Episode 6

It's Wednesday, and that can mean only one thing: the puntastic and amateurish charm of the twofootedtackle football podcast! Hurrah!

Gary Andrews and I were joined in the studio this week by the Metro's Tom Phillips, aka @flashboy, to shoot the breeze on the (occasionally) important football issues. Tom's a Nottingham Forest fan, so we focused on the Championship's top and bottom.

On the show this week: Southampton are relegated from the Championship, Manchester United are in the Premier League driving seat, Nottingham Forest and AFC Bournemouth are safe and Burton and Wimbledon finally secure promotion.

We also discuss Steve McClaren and the Eredivisie, come up with some rather amusing song-based football puns, and Gary and I debate the benefits for Newcastle United of their possible relegation from the top flight. I won the vote in the studio, having gone against the motion, but you can vote below. Please (please!) do.
