Flirting with Soccerlens

Regular readers will know that I write a weekly column at Soccerlens, but I've been a little more involved than usual this week.

Having met Ahmed Bilal for a chat on Tuesday, I got to writing my weekly MLS column which is now available and looks at the recently revived fortunes of FC Dallas.

I was also the guest on the first Soccerlens Podcast of the season with Stephen Darwin. It's a bit of a whistlestop tour around European football, focusing on the first week of Premier League action and a look forward at La Liga and Serie A (you can tell with which of those two leagues I'm most familiar), as well as a quick look at Villa, Lyon and the midweek Champions League games.

I also barely managed to disguise that I'd completely forgotten about Gary's revelation in the latest twofootedtackle Football Podcast that Samuel Eto'o collects mobile phones.
