Sponsorship opportunities at Tooting & Mitcham

Regular readers will know that TFT has something of a special relationship with Tooting & Mitcham United, largely because I'm the editor and I love the Terrors. The forthcoming season will see lots of content on here (well, the new site - more on that later) from Imperial Fields, beginning with an interview with the new manager, Mark Beard, at the start of the season. That interview was conducted at the club last night and while I was there, I was asked if I could use the site to share some opportunities for sponsorship at the club. Very clever they are too.

Corporate Six-a-Side

On the day of the Tooting v Brentford friendly, July 31st, the club is holding a fun day and entertainment evening. Entry is £25 per person, which sounds a lot but you get significant bang for your buck:

• Six-a-side football tournament in the morning, 9.30 to 13.30
• Match ticket for Brentford game
• Trophy presented to winning team on pitch before game
• Winning team chooses and presents man of the match
• Ticket for evening's entertainment after match: live bands, DJ, BBQ, auctions
• Drinks vouchers(18 per team)
• Food from the BBQ

On top of all that, all of Tooting's first team players will be in attendance throughout the day. That might not be all that exciting for you lot, but I can't wait! If you fancy getting your business or a bunch of mates involved, drop me a line at twofootedtackle[at]googlemail[dot]com.

Shirt Sponsorship Raffle

Tooting will also be raffling off a number of excellent sponsorship opportunities in a business raffle. Tickets are £50 a go, but the prizes are worth it:

• 1st: business name on back of Tooting home shirts for the season (valued at £7,000)
• 2nd: business name on back of our away shirts
• 3rd: two advertising boards and full page advert in programme
• 4th: one advertising board and full page in programme
• 5th: five free tickets for game of the winner's choice and half page advert in programme

Match Sponsorship Package

Finally - and this is the one I intend to get involved with a couple of times this season - is the club's very generous match sponsorship package. For £100, a business or a group of friends will get:

• Six free matchday tickets
• 18 drink vouchers(3 free drinks each) valid for before the game, at half time and after match
• To choose and present the man of the match award
• Signed football from Tooting first team
