Premier League bad, Seattle Sounders good

Monday, 20 April 2009

Quick heads-up for any dudes out there who care enough about what I write to read my stuff elsewhere. I've had a couple of pieces published today which may be of interest to football fans, bloggers and so on and so forth and so what.

Firstly, on the blog I help to write in my day job at Porter Novelli, the global public relations agency, I've done my best to bite my tongue while writing a critique of the Premier League and DataCo's approach to copyright enforcement in football. Not a single swear! My mum would be proud. You can read it at Clicking & Screaming.

I've also written another piece for Soccerlens. This one explains why I think Seattle Sounders FC are a fantastic thing for Major League Soccer, and why good marketing, good location choice and good timing could mean the Sounders help out the league as a whole. More here.

Your comments are, as always, more than welcome in both cases.
