twofootedtackle podcast Episode 5
Wednesday, 22 April 2009
It's Wednesday. It's 11am. It's CRACKERJA...
That's right, twofootedfans, it's time for the fifth episode of the twofootedtackle podcast. Gary and I were joined in Studio 31 by Ollie Irish from Big Soccer, and he had an exciting announcement for us. Readers of Who Ate All The Pies, you might want to listen to this week's show.
Between the three of us, we managed to muster enough expertise to guide ourselves through the Premier League, FA Cup and Football League, along with the Blue Square Premier and Blue Square South promotion races, Major League Soccer, Adriano and a few other bits and pieces.
twofootedtackle podcast Episode 5 is now available on iTunes. Just search for twofootedpodcast.
Alternatively, you'll find the MP3 directly by clickimafying here.
In this week's debate, Gary and I booted each other in the bollocks over the PFA's Player of the Year nominations, and decided on our sides of the argument with a slightly farcical coin toss. Ollie awarded the in-studio victory to yours truly, but you, dear readers, have the power to overturn his decision. Vote below.
The blog posts we discussed this week were from Soccerlens and Aston Villa Blog. Anybody who spots the "deliberate" error gets a cookie or something.

Rule #1 for Watching an MLS Season...no matter how poorly a team starts, there is always a chance they will make the playoffs. LA was horrific for most of 2005, did just enough to get in the playoffs, and then went on to win the MLS Cup. 2005 is the poster child for why playoffs to decide champions in footy is completely ridiculous.
